After external cleaning and inspection, the plate packs are disassembled. Each plate is then individually cleaned to remove scale buildup, inspected for defects (including pin holes) and replaced if necessary. The pack is then reassembled using new gaskets throughout and pressure tested before delivery.

After arrival at our Redford facility, the heat exchanger is first externally cleaned, visually inspected and checked for leaks. The internal tubes are then descaled. After descaling, the heat exchanger is inspected internally and reassembeld with new gaskets and seals. After successfully pressure testing on both circuits it is prepared for delivery back to the customer.
